A host of Hollywood stars teed off at Lakeside Golf Club on May 7 for the 11th annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic. The event benefits the George Lopez Foundation, whose mission is to create positive, permanent change for underprivileged children, adults and military families confronting challenges in education and health, as well as increasing community awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. With the help of famous guests including Joe Mantegna, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Joe Pesci, Anthony Anderson, Tommy Chong and Yasiel Puig, this year’s sold-out tournament raised a record $810,000 to send hundreds of children with kidney disease to summer camp.
