This rescue cat got her unusual name from a combination of her human family’s interests: the minke whale (because her mom loves whales) and the plucking of strings on a musical instrument (because her dad is a conductor and composer). They call her a “little puppycat” because she loves running to the door to greet them, going outside to enjoy the breeze, looking out the window at the world around her and being petted by the family’s new baby — with whom she’s always kind and patient.
