On March 14, more than 100 people attended the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association’s annual meeting at Honey Baked Ham on Riverside Drive. Its purpose was to update the membership on past and upcoming events, as well as any new or past issues that affect Toluca Lake. The meeting was also an opportunity to welcome new members and introduce the Board of Directors.
Most importantly, several community leaders enlightened the membership on key issues. The speakers included Councilmember David Ryu, Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian, NBCUniversal Director Darnell Tyler, Fire Captain Brian Stires, Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council President Ryan Altoon and Public Safety Chair Jason Friedman, Toluca Lake Garden Club President Dana Boyd, TLHOA Vice President and Beautification Partners representative Kari Negri, Toluca Lake Chamber of Commerce President Jon Molin and Southeast Valley Community Plan Update team member Miles Orr.
As TLHOA president, I thanked outgoing Director Pam Scharlach for her dedicated service to the community, and she was recognized by Councilmember Ryu and Assemblymember Nazarian with beautiful certificates. The TLHOA advocates for and gives a powerful voice to the homeowners of Toluca Lake. For more information, visit tlhoa.org.
