Celebrities gathered at Lakeside Golf Club on May 6 for the 12th annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic benefiting the George Lopez Foundation. Inspired by Lopez’s personal experience of receiving a kidney transplant in 2005 after a genetic condition caused his kidneys to deteriorate, the sold-out event encouraged awareness about kidney disease and the importance of organ donation while supporting the foundation’s mission of improving quality of life for children and adults in need. Golfers and guests including Tim Allen, Anthony Anderson, David Arquette, Caitlyn Jenner, Oscar de la Hoya, Edward James Olmos, Ron Perlman, Nancy Travis and Wilmer Valderrama raised funds to send over 250 kids with kidney disease to summer camp.
