Toluca Lake residents young and old donned patriotic gear, decorated their bicycles, dressed up their pets and grabbed their flags to celebrate Independence Day with the neighborhood’s annual informal parade. This local tradition began 25 years ago with a spontaneous procession of a few families and has grown into a popular event complete with a band, drumline and guests like Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian and LAPD Senior Lead Officer Kurtis Delbar.Photos by Robyn Allyn and Tommy Red Media.
