Jason Friedman

I’ve lived in Toluca Lake for five years. I love the small-town feel it provides.

Right now, I am trying to stay positive and find the few silver linings of this challenging situation: We are using substantially fewer paper towels in our house. I learned how to properly wash my hands. We are using this time to organize our house and enjoying all of the extra family time we are getting.

Not being able to have playdates for my 4-year-old son has been challenging. We have been building a ton of blanket forts and obstacle courses, but I look forward to him being able to play with his friends.

Now more than ever, I am trying to support local restaurants. I want to say a huge thank-you to all of the employees at the local essential businesses that have had to stay open.
