At age 18, Lucky might be the oldest dog in the neighborhood! In a real rags-to-riches story, she went from scrounging for survival as a puppy in Bakersfield to being showered with love on a daily basis in Toluca Lake, where she believes the world revolves around her — which it does. She loves tennis balls and hates baths and mail carriers. Even though she’s now completely deaf and mostly blind, she still runs into the kitchen each morning when she smells her homemade food being heated up, enjoys her breakfast and then amuses her family with how hard she plays.
