The Toluca Lake Homeowners Association (TLHOA) and Neighborhood Watch hosted the second annual Neighbor2Neighbor block party on July 23, bringing community members together to celebrate the centennial, make connections, share food and more.
“Last year’s event was so successful that folks asked us to repeat it,” TLHOA executive board member Terry Herkner says. “There were parties from Valley Spring Lane to Kling Street. Potlucks, pizza parties and grilling were the order of the day, with cold wine and beer as well.”
Herkner adds that residents can expect at least two community block parties per year moving forward, with the next event planned for sometime in the spring of next year.
