Toluca Lake was honored with an L.A. City Council resolution at City Hall on November 28 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the neighborhood’s founding. During the Council meeting, President Paul Krekorian and representatives from the Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council, Toluca Lake Beautification Partners, Toluca Lake Garden Club, Toluca Lake Chamber of Commerce and Toluca Lake Homeowners Association each shared some reflections about the community’s rich history and character. Councilmember Nithya Raman, who previously represented our district, also added her praise for the neighborhood (including a shout-out to Toluca Lake Magazine!). We were honored to be present for the ceremony and are grateful to Krekorian and the rest of the Council for this landmark tribute to Toluca Lake.
