The 11th annual Turkey Trot and Fall Festival, hosted by the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association and L.A. City Council President Paul Krekorian, brought together more than 400 people from in and around the neighborhood for a 5K run/walk, 1K kids’ fun run and other engaging activities on November 19. The event was the most successful to date, breaking both attendance and fundraising records, with $56,000 raised. The net proceeds will go toward supporting TLHOA’s community initiatives as well as its charitable partners, the East Valley Police Activity League Supporters (PALS) and LAFD Firehouse 86. “This is a cornerstone event in Toluca Lake, showcasing the community’s unity and commitment to charity through a blend of fun, collaboration and civic engagement,” TLHOA board member Scott Morris says, noting that the event was made possible by the sponsorship of many local businesses and residents and the coordination of the Turkey Trot Committee and Krekorian’s office.
