Logix Federal Credit Union

Since opening its doors on November 1, Logix Federal Credit Union’s Toluca Lake branch has seamlessly integrated itself into the fabric of the neighborhood. Located on Riverside Drive, the branch has built connections with local merchants and fostered a flourishing relationship with residents.

“We are thrilled to be part of this community,” Toluca Lake branch manager Priscilla Gonzalez says. “We’ve already gotten to know business owners and many of our neighbors, who have warmly welcomed us. Toluca Lake has a perfect balance of small-town charm and successful local businesses.”

The decision to establish a Logix branch in Toluca Lake was strategic, driven by the area’s “ease of access to members in and around the eastern San Fernando Valley,” Gonzalez says. “We’re excited to be able to offer our services to area residents and join the thriving business community along Riverside Drive.”

Gonzalez says residents frequently ask what a credit union is and how it differs from a bank — a question she’s always eager to answer. “The biggest difference is that we are a not-for-profit financial institution and member-owned,” she says. “This means that we are able to offer lower rates on products like auto loans and higher interest rates on our savings accounts, all while providing superior service.”

Logix doesn’t just exist within the Toluca Lake community; the staff actively engages with it. The branch served as the presenting sponsor of the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association’s 2023 Turkey Trot and Fall Festival, as well as participating in the Holiday Open House event on December 1.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do at Logix,” Gonzalez says. “Our team is passionate about helping our members thrive financially, and we believe that begins with thriving communities.”

Gonzalez adds that the branch’s involvement will expand even more in 2024. “We will continue to be active within the community through work with the Chamber of Commerce and supporting local schools and nonprofits,” she says.

For Logix, community engagement goes beyond business transactions — it’s about fostering relationships and making a difference in people’s lives.

“I have met several members who have shared their excitement about us being here,” Toluca Lake branch relationship manager Agustin Gaytan says. “Most members are excited to visit us because it’s convenient, and they enjoy visiting this area.”

Since day one, Logix has made it a priority to be there for its members and connect with them on a personal level. “We had a member come into the branch recently and share that one of our tellers gave her a heartfelt gift and note after learning that she was going through a difficult time in her life,” Gaytan says. “The member was truly touched by the kind gesture, and it shows how passionate we are about supporting our members and bringing a smile to their faces, in even the most challenging circumstances.”
