Laura Mann has lived near Toluca Lake for over 15 years, so when the opportunity arose for her to move Wildflower Acupuncture from Beverly Hills to Toluca Lake last year, she knew she had to jump on it.
“My practice was growing quickly, and I knew I needed to find a larger space and was eager to find a spot closer to home,” Mann shares. “When I found the available space on Riverside Drive, I jumped at the opportunity to make it my own. I’ve always found Toluca Lake to be such a special and charming pocket of the Valley. We love bringing the kids to all the fun holiday events. Toluca Lake Halloween is a big hit every year!”
A practice that combines traditional acupuncture with cutting-edge medical approaches, Wildflower Acupuncture has been enthusiastically embraced by the neighborhood.
“Since the day Wildflower Acupuncture arrived in Toluca Lake, I have felt so much warmth and excitement from the local community,” Mann says. “Residents have stopped by to say hello with flowers and gifts. I have really felt the warm hospitality of the neighborhood firsthand and have received so much support from all the surrounding businesses as well.”
This sense of community has fueled Mann’s passion for her work and inspires her to create a unique and personalized experience for each patient.
“My favorite part of running the business is being able to curate every step of the patient experience and make sure we are providing the best of the best — from the plush heated tables to the high-end equipment and the highest-quality needles and supplements,” she says. “People really love coming in here, and they leave feeling transformed. That is the most fulfilling part for me.”
Mann specializes in treating a wide range of complex conditions, including neuropathy, long COVID, infertility, anxiety and depression, fibromyalgia, migraines, chronic pain and more.
“I had a patient with residual pain from an old spinal surgery come in recently and tell me, ‘The day after my last treatment, I had my first pain-free day in three years,’” Mann shares. “She was so excited and grateful, and there’s nothing better than that to me. I had another patient with severe anxiety who can now go about her life with a newfound sense of calm without her hands shaking. Also, a fertility patient just found out she’s pregnant after two months of acupuncture — sooner than expected! I love sharing in the excitement with my patients.”
As Wildflower Acupuncture continues to thrive, Mann remains committed to her mission of promoting health and wellness in Toluca Lake. “My goal is to help the residents and professionals of Toluca Lake live happier and healthier lives,” she says. “We have had a massive inflow of new patients who have just walked by or saw our sign and have been meaning to try acupuncture, and they are so happy we’re here. We have been kept busy in here just by word of mouth, so my clientele is a truly close-knit community of its own.”
