To help provide local residents with essential supplies during the holiday season, the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association held its annual food drive for the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry on November 17. Board members from both organizations came out to lend a hand, neighbors dropped off carloads of food and hygiene items as well as monetary contributions, and volunteers sorted donations and packed them into bags for families, seniors, students, unhoused people and pets in need. In addition to the drive-through event, a drop-off box at Priscilla’s Coffee collected even more items. All told, the event gathered about 5,000 pounds of donations from generous community members.
