The 12th annual Turkey Trot and Fall Festival, hosted by the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association (TLHOA), brought together more than 400 community members for a 5K run/walk, 1K kids’ fun run and other activities on November 24. The event was the most successful to date, breaking both attendance and fundraising records.
“The Toluca Lake HOA is proud to once again donate $15,000 to Fire Station 86 and an additional $15,000 to East Valley Police Activity League Supporters,” TLHOA board member Scott Morris says.
This commitment to public safety has taken on new meaning after wildfires recently engulfed Southern California. “This tragedy was a sobering reminder of how much we need the brave men and women of LAFD and law enforcement,” Morris says. “It is inspiring to hear the stories of how the residents of Los Angeles are coming together to support the victims of these fires and the men and women who swore an oath to protect them.”
