Campo de Cahuenga Day

This annual celebration commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Cahuenga in 1847, a document that was instrumental in bringing an end to the conflict over the southwest territory between the U.S. and Mexico. This family-friendly event features a historical reenactment of the ceremonies that took place at the historic Campo de Cahuenga 171 years ago, with a traditional cannon-firing salute, live music and fiesta dancing.
