You can now register for the 2019 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, which will take place January 22-24.
In 2018, the county’s homeless population decreased for the first time in four years. But the forces driving people into homelessness persist, and we see the results on our streets. Los Angeles still has the largest unsheltered homeless population in the country.
The Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count needs at least 8,000 volunteers to canvas more than 80 cities and 200 communities across L.A. County.
Tuesday, January 22: San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, & San Gabriel Valley
Wednesday, January 23: South Bay/Harbor Cities & East and West Los Angeles County
Thursday, January 24: Antelope Valley, Metro Los Angeles, & South Los Angeles County
