4-year-old Coton de Tulear Tallulah and 8-year-old silver Havanese Max were rescued from a kill shelter. Both can regularly be seen taking walks around Toluca Lake, where they love the wide sidewalks, magnolia trees and sniffing the many garden walls in their neighborhood.

This gentle 14-year-old rescue cat loves waking his family up early, snuggling at the foot of the bed, and following his human mom, Susanne, around the house and garden until she feeds him breakfast. After his brother, Felix, passed away last December, Oscar became much more vocal and always wants to be around people. Although he sleeps for most of the day, he continues to bring mice and birds into the house as presents.

One-year-old dachshund Richard might be a candidate for honorary four-legged mayor of Toluca Lake. He enjoys meeting and greeting community members — both human and canine — on his frequent walks through the neighborhood and visits to A La Mutt on Riverside Drive.
