Campo de Cahuenga Open House
January 6 at 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Known as “the birthplace of California,” Campo de Cahuenga is the historical site of the signing of the Treaty of Cahuenga in 1847, a document that was instrumental in bringing an end to the conflict over the southwest territory between the U.S. and Mexico. On the first and third Saturday of each month, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., the historical site opens its doors to the public, allowing them to explore various exhibits featuring California history, culture, art and artifacts.
