Toluca Lake Magazine Issue Archive

Spring 2025

As the jam-packed Out & About section of this issue demonstrates, community events are happening around the clock in Toluca Lake — now literally, with the unveiling of the timepiece that serves as a new Village landmark on Riverside Drive. In addition, we bring you ideas for neighborly bonding from honorary mayor Fritz Coleman, an introduction to new Assemblymember Nick Schultz and his plans for representing our area, and a look back at the local impacts of the 1938 L.A. flood, a historic disaster that feels strikingly timely in the wake of our recent devastating wildfires.
